New Layout (and some other things)

March 9, 2009 1 comment

Okay, so the look has changed around here and might not stay the same because I really liked the old one because it was all black.  But I came to the conclusion that my old version with the picture of my cat made me look like I am a crazy cat person.  Now, I’m not saying that I don’t own or like cats, but I am by no means a at person.  I am a dog person, I don’t have a dog because I feel it would be cruel to own a dog in the apartment I live in and with the lifestyle I currently lead, so I am relegated to owning a cat (my husband owns the other one).  It just so happened that I had taken a cool picture of my cat Phoebe and decided that it should be in the header.  I don’t know what possessed me to do this, but 19 year old Megan thought it would be a good idea and it’s taken me four years to realize the message that it was sending.

So, I hope you enjoy the new layout.  The picture is one I took when I went to the Desert Botanical Gardens to see the Chihuly Glass.  If you are in the Phoenix area, I highly recommend going to see the glass.  It is so incredible, it’s an excuse to get outside and if nothing else, you get to spend four hours taking pictures of something really unique.  Even if you’re a crap photographer, you’ll luck into at least a dozen awesome shots.  It’s hard not to take awesome pictures of Chihuly Glass.  The exhibit is going on until the end of May so you still have plenty of time – just don’t forget to make reservations so you can get in.  When I get home, I will try to upload some more pictures or give you a link to my Picasa account (if I can ever figure out how to upload the photos to it…) so you can take a look at my camera work.  I’m pretty pleased with a handful of the pictures if I do say so myself.
